The Panama Canal participates in the Latinex Bell Ringing

The Latin American Stock Exchange (Latinex) held a bell-ringing ceremony to commemorate the listing on its international secondary market of the Panama Canal's global bond issue, originally issued in 2015 for USD 450 million , thus reaffirming the commitment of both institutions to strengthening the Panamanian capital market and Panama's international projection as a financial center.

The ceremony was attended by the administrator of the Panama Canal, Ricaurte Vásquez Morales , and the CEO of Latinex, Olga Cantillo , who highlighted the importance of this milestone in expanding the investment options available in the market and strengthening Panama's position as a regional hub for trading financial instruments.
